About Me: I am 54 years old, married to my wife Debbie. and have two grown boys. I have an EE degree from University of Washington and been working at Boeing for the last 22+ years as a Software Engineer.

My first bike: I always wanted a motorcycle since the first day I saw a kid riding a mini bike back when I was 6 years old. I finally got my wish and my dad bought me a trail Honda 90 when I was 12. He figured I needed to ride with someone and he went out an bought a Suzuki 125 twin the next day. Boy did my mom blow a gasket! My mom even got into riding later on she rode a 75 KDX 175.  I then moved up to a  Suzuki TS 250, 1975 Yamaha 400 MX-B,  91 Suzuki DR400, 98 KTM 200EXC, 02 KTM 200EXC and now my latest ride a 2010 KTM 450 EXC street legal. I also like to ride my KTM 950 when I get a chance especially doing some dual sport camp outs.

My Riding Experience. I learned to ride at Hollister Hills  and Clear Creek in California until I moved up to WA . My favorite places to ride is in  the mountains of Taneum, Little Nachess, Mad River, Gifford Pinchot in the summer. Winter time Tahuya is my main stomping grounds and really got to know the trails in the last couple of years.

My Favorite Quote: “He Who Dies With The Most Toys, Wins''?” I most likely will lose that race, but sure am having fun trying.

Why I became Web Master: I became Web to help off load some of the work from the President duties and I also enjoy doing things on the web.

I’d also like to say. Get out and participate in helping with tails work parties even if it only once a year. You meet the nicest people around and it a great way to put something back into the sport that we all enjoy.

Do You Have What it Takes?

If you like riding, camping, and hanging out with friends you may in fact have what it takes! You have to also be willing to give a little back to the sport, via work parties and sharing riding tips with newer riders. If this sounds like you, we here at CFMC are always looking to expand our circle of friends via new members! Click here to send us an email. We will be happy to share more information about the club and review with you what is required to become a member of the Cascade Family Motorcycle Club,  Or  Click Here to download and view a CFMC Membership Packet
